Terms and conditions

You describe an app idea. The site prints a receipt: roughly what building it with each AI app builder would cost, and roughly how much of your own time it would take. There is also an optional AI step, described further down. All of it is free. There are no accounts, no paid tier, no newsletter, and nothing to buy from us at any point.

A receipt here is a guess with its working shown. Every number is published as a range, because a single figure would be a more confident lie. It is not a quote, not an offer, and not a promise that anyone will build anything for that money. Nobody at MB Viksva is bidding for your project.

How the ranges are worked out — the formula, the sources, the dates — is written up in the methodology. If you think a number is wrong, that page shows you exactly which number to argue with.

The AI plan is the optional step where you describe your idea in your own words and an AI reads it, works out the closest app type and the features it would need, and gives a verdict: green, yellow, or red on whether AI app builders are a sensible way to build that particular thing. It is free, and each visitor gets five runs an hour — every run costs us real money, and the limit is the reason there is no paywall instead.

The verdict is an opinion, and it can be wrong. It is meant honestly and it is not always right. Green does not promise your project will work, sell, or finish. Red does not forbid you from trying — plenty of good things get built after something advised against them. Treat it as a raised eyebrow, not a locked door.

Do not paste in secrets. No passwords, no access keys, no card numbers, and nothing private about other people. Describe the idea the way you would to a stranger on a train. Where the text goes and how long it is kept is set out in the privacy policy.

Before the AI plan runs, it makes you choose: private, or public wall. Both are free and both give you the same verdict. The choice is only about publishing.

The idea stays yours. Choosing “Public wall” gives MB Viksva permission (a non-exclusive, revocable licence) to store the text of your idea and the verdict it received, and to show them on this site. That is the whole permission: it does not make the idea ours, it does not stop you using it anywhere else, and it does not extend to selling it on to anyone.

Submissions go into a queue, not straight onto the site. A person reads every entry before it is published, and we may decline or remove any entry without giving a reason. The wall itself does not exist yet; entries wait until it does.

Withdrawing is one email. The entry comes off the site and the stored text is deleted, no explanation needed. The privacy policy has the details of what to send.

Do not submit anything unlawful, anything private about other people, advertising or spam, or anything you are under an obligation to keep confidential — an employer’s plans, a client’s project, something covered by a signed agreement.

One honest warning about patents. A public wall is public. Putting an idea on it counts as telling the world (a public disclosure), and in most countries that can cost you the chance to patent the idea later. If a patent might ever matter to you, talk to a professional first and keep the entry private until you have.

There is one rule, and it is the ordinary one: use the site like a person, not like a machine trying to empty it. Specifically, please do not

• flood the AI plan with automated requests, or try to get around the five-an-hour limit by cycling through browsers, connections, or scripts;
• copy the pages wholesale with automated programs at a rate that costs us money or slows the site for other people;
• attack, overload, or break into any part of the site or the services behind it, or try to reach data that is not meant to be public.

We may block traffic that behaves like that, at any time, without warning. The hourly limit is not a paywall in disguise — it is the reason there is no paywall.

The words, the design, the price tables, and the estimates published on this site belong to MB Viksva and are protected by copyright. Reading them, printing them, saving your own receipt, and using any of it to plan your own project needs no permission from anyone.

Quoting is welcome, with a link back. Take a figure, a line, a chunk of the reasoning — and say where it came from. What is not welcome is republishing the tables or the guides wholesale, as if the work were yours.

Anything you type into the calculator or the AI plan stays yours. Using this site gives us no rights over your idea; the only permission that ever changes hands is the narrow one you grant by choosing the public wall, described above.

The site is provided as it is, free of charge. We work to keep the numbers current and the pages up, but we cannot promise that the site is always available, always free of mistakes, or that any particular figure is still right on the day you read it. Prices move faster than we do.

So far as the law allows, MB Viksva is not liable for any loss that follows from relying on an estimate, a verdict, or anything else published here — money spent, time spent, a project started, or a project abandoned. You get a free guess; the risk of acting on it is yours.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights that consumer law in your own country gives you and does not allow you to sign away. Where such a law says a limit like the one above cannot apply, it does not apply.

When these terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date at the top. There is no mailing list to warn you, which is rather the point of not having one.

Carrying on with the site after a change means you accept the new version. Whatever was on this page at the time applies to what happened before that date.

These terms are governed by Lithuanian law, and the courts of Lithuania are where a formal dispute would be heard. If you are a consumer living in the EU or EEA, you keep every protection your own country’s law gives you that cannot be signed away, and where the two disagree, yours wins.

Before anything that formal, though: write to us. Corrections, complaints, takedowns, and “your estimate was way off” all go to the same place, and most problems turn out to be one email long.
